Developing Internal Coaches

Course outline

Recent research has shown that around 80% of businesses use coaching to develop their staff and improve performance. In order to make the most of this valuable tool, coaches need to be equipped with the necessary skills. This workshop allows delegates to develop the relevant skills through practice in a safe environment.

Objectives

On completion of the course, delegates will:

  • be able to define what coaching is
  • recognise when coaching is the correct intervention to use
  • have identified the skills required to be an effective coach
  • have practiced coaching others using a variety of models
  • consider how and when to use coaching within their own business environment

Attendees

This programme is recommended for those who coach others within the work environment. It will benefit those who are new to coaching or those wanting to create a coaching culture within their organisation.
