We do what we do because we love to see the light bulb moments. Working with leaders, managers and members of staff and seeing them grow in confidence as they take on new tools and start using them in their everyday lives is very rewarding. Hearing that a manager tackled a poor performance issue or a leader used coaching to help a team member with their development brings a smile to the face. Sharing tips and tools for managing time effectively or helping someone build their confidence so that they can stand up to difficult customers makes my day. Watching teams shift from being fractionalised and in conflict to a position where they start to trust each other and work productively together is what gets me up in the morning.
